Description:
DeWitt seeks a proactive and strategic Marketing Director to join our dynamic leadership team. With a presence in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and over 130 lawyers and 230 staff across four locations, we value problem solvers who prioritize teamwork, exhibit realistic optimism, and are committed to excellence. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader eager to engage with all members of our firm and drive our marketing initiatives forward.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for firm branding, market positioning, and business growth; use data and analytics to measure success; and create differentiation strategies.
• Communications & Community Support: Oversee social media, internal and external communications, PR strategies, sponsorships, and marketing materials; promote firm culture internally. Oral and written communication excellence required.
• Business Development & Attorney Support: Support attorneys with pitches, proposals, and marketing training; develop process for handling cold calls and website inquiries; onboard new attorneys with marketing resources.
• MarTech: Evaluate and enhance the firm’s website and marketing technology.
• Office Support: Visit other offices regularly to address their specific needs. Travel up to 20% required.
• Budget Management: Develop firm marketing budget annually while implementing overall cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns & strategies.
Requirements:
• Proven success in a senior marketing role within a professional environment.
• B.S./B.A. in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Masters’ degree preferred.
• Experience in strategic marketing planning and implementation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Creative thinker with an analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
DeWitt employees currently work onsite three days each week with the opportunity to work remotely two days a week. However, DeWitt is seeking a leader who prefers to be “onsite” more often than 3 days/week, particularly during first year of employment.
