Description:

Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, a large global law firm with 32 offices in 15 countries, is seeking a Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) to support the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives for the California offices (San Francisco, Palo Alto and Los Angeles).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement firm marketing plans and related budgets
• Work with attorneys on business development efforts
• Recognize and maximize attorney client development opportunities
• Manage special events and firm seminars
• Evaluate and recommend firm sponsorship opportunities, article placement and speaking opportunities
• Internal activities, e.g., tracking and reporting

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in legal or business-to-business professional services industry marketing, and a degree in marketing, communications or a related field. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Local candidates are preferred as this position does not offer relocation. This position requires frequent travel between the firm’s three California offices.
