The Firmwide Marketing department of Baker Hostetler has an excellent opportunity for a National Marketing Manager – Cleveland Office and Business Practice Group. This position is responsible for developing and leading all marketing and communications activities for the Cleveland Office and Business Practice Group of the Firm. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with the Cleveland Office and Business Practice Group to develop a national marketing plan focused on advancing and coordinating the goals and objectives of their strategic plans. • Coordinate marketing staff and resources to support the execution of the national marketing plan, including: internal communications, media relations, events and research. • Development and execution of client development and target programs. • Maintain progress reports on marketing activities, proposals and customer satisfaction. • Produce print and online marketing materials used to promote the position of the Business Practice Group and advance the brand of the Firm. • Coordinate strategic planning and production of client proposals. • Communicate success of the Business Practice Group internally and externally, including maintenance of related services databases. • Coordinate media relations for the Business Practice Group. • Coordinate production and participation in Firm and industry conferences. • Participate in monthly meetings of Business Practice Group partners, as well as present a year-end report on the program of the marketing plan. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) plus seven years of related experience. MBA preferred. Professional services firm marketing and client development experience highly desirable. • Demonstrated success strengthening corporate reputations and client relationships. • Proven ability to be a self-starter with high energy, manage major projects, while coordinating the activities of department resources and senior management. • Experience responding in writing to client requests for proposal (“RFP’s”). • Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills. • Interactive marketing experience is a plus for online activities.
