Description:

The NA Region Marketing Assistant will provide support to the NA Region Marketing Manager and to the NA Region management with various marketing and administrative responsibilities that may change over time.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the coordination and organization and development of materials relating to the Region’s Corporate Compliance Initiative, including deal collection, draft descriptions, attorney listings, value proposition, etc. for each business line, creating relevant internal and external websites, and tracking related client activity.

Assist in the tracking of marketing team responsibilities relating to the Global 200 and the general implementation of the program within the NA Region. 

Assist in the planning and logistical organization of regional seminars, webinars, meetings, conference participation, etc. 

Maintain the internal and external websites for the North American Region (including the NA Marketing Service Center Site, the NA Pitch Shopping Cart, and the external North American Home Page) as directed (including content coordination, regular maintenance of documents, posting material, updating pages as appropriate, etc.)

Assist in the coordination of materials relating to directories, league tables, etc. 

Schedule meetings/conference calls (e.g., marketing team, corporate compliance, marketing committee, team subcommittees, etc.) and assist in meeting preparation/follow up (including minutes of marketing team meetings and corporate compliance meetings). 

Assist in client research and analysis as requested, including developing templated RPG reports for quarterly distribution. 

Assist in the coordination and follow-up necessary as part of the WHM client conference organization. 

Develop powerpoint presentations as requested. 

Assist in the tracking and monitoring of various regional marketing and business development projects, including follow-up with relevant parties to ensure deadlines are met and initiatives moved forward. 

Review and forward/respond to e-mails from external regional web site.

General proofing/secondary quality control of materials produced by the Regional Marketing Manager and others as requested (e.g., reports, presentations, etc.).

Help address individual requests from partners and marketing staff (e.g., find materials) and global marketing requests. 

Maintain database of all newsletter/league table items (spreadsheet) and determine disclosability of LT items. 

Develop and maintain regional calendar of events. 

Other general administration and marketing assistance to NA Region Marketing Manager and regional management.

Various modifications in the scope of responsibilities may become necessary during tenure as a more precise understanding of the Firm’s requirements in this regard and the activities best suited to achieve them are identified.


Requirements:

Excellent writing and communication skills. 

Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines. 

Flexibility to work long hours during peak periods. 

Strong computer skills (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Familiarity with internet and web-based platforms.

Ability to provide creative input on marketing related projects. 

High level of energy and persistence and understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. 

Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with a team and independently. 

Strong analytical skills and research skills.

Able to work with highly confidential information and maintain strictest confidentiality on all matters.

Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential.

Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in marketing or related area is preferred. Previous experience in a partnership and professional services environment is a plus. 

Decision Making: The position exercises some degree of discretion and independent judgment with regard to the prioritization and discharge of work; The position requires candidate to be resourceful in solving problems, persistent and results-oriented.
